In specific circumstances, we will also require personal data in order to manage our relationship with you/provide you with our services (e.g. your payment card details to take payment or certain information to enable you to create an account with us).

Where your personal data is not a mandatory requirement, we will make this clear, for instance we will explain if any data field in our forms are optional and can be left blank.

If you submit any personal information relating to another person, you represent that you are authorised by that person to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you use Inside Membership, we may collect the following data:

  • Your birthday (you must be at least 18 years old to use Inside Membership).

  • Online engagement metrics (i.e. likes per post, geographic reach of content online).
  • Information collected when you contact us: includes information in emails and other communications with us such as Instagram direct messages, feedback and events.
  • Other information such as interests and preferences (i.e your favourite hotspots, reviews, and feedback).
  • User behavior within the Inside Membership app and web central management system (i.e. to track content delivery, feedback, experiences, etc.).

5. Why do we use your information? What are our lawful bases for processing your personal data?

We are collecting your data for several reasons:

  • To evaluate your membership application.
  • To better understand your needs and preferences.
  • To improve our services.
  • To communicate tailored content we think you will find interesting.
  • To contact you to complete partnerships or participate in tailored partnerships, events, or market research.
  • Events: We collect information regarding attendance and your content creation. We may also photograph or film our Inside events, with appropriate notices displayed should this content be used for public relations or other commercial/business purposes.

6. Do we share the information we receive?

Inside Membership is committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. Inside has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard all the information we collect.

6.1 Third Party notices

Third parties such as venues collaborating with Inside Membership may be guaranteed access to your personal information when applicable (e.g. event organizing, making a reservation, communication via email or other forms of communication, or content uploaded online).

7. How do we protect your personal data?

We take the security of the personal information we collect seriously. We have implemented and maintain technical and organisational security measures (as required by applicable data protection laws) to protect your personal information from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration or unauthorised disclosure or access.

  • Venue pop-up for easy access when geo-location turned on.
  • Temporary restrictions to your account if Community Guidelines aren’t met.
